Make the second encounter different
Do not make every return session a photocopy of the first. Preserve the underlying idea while changing the surface details. Keep changes proportionate. Moving from a simple fraction comparison to a long multi-step word problem may introduce several extra demands at once. How to recover after missing a study day
Missing a day does not erase previous learning. Look at the next available time and identify the most important unfinished task. Move that task forward, reduce lower-priority repetitions if necessary, and preserve a realistic daily workload. Doubling every session the following day may create a cycle in which the plan becomes increasingly difficult to follow.
In the planner, change the start date and generate a fresh schedule when you need a restart.
